The next destination is Bourton on the Water. There is no direct bus from Bibury, so I had to go there via Northleach, where is very small village I walked around while waiting for the transit bus. The local children approached and asked me, “Hey, let’s take a selfie together!” It seemed that they were curious about a stranger, Japanese woman walking around alone…

Bourton-on-the-Water is a waterfront town called Little Venice. Honestly speaking it is quite different from the actual Venice…but it is very pleasant place, which has more of a recreational element than Bibury. I saw many English people, probably from neighboring towns.

In Bibury, the capricious sun was coming out and hiding every few minutes, but after arriving here, it was dazzling and sunny. UV index was MAX, so UV cream and topcoat were necessary for me.
Rose flowers shine well in the blue sky. I think this combination is really great!

There is also a facility called “Model Village” where the whole village is scaled down to one-ninth size. I remember I actually went there, but there are no photos left (??)

On the way back, I took a bus to Morton in Marsh, and from there I took a train to London (Paddington Station). I wish I could have visited other villages, but one day trip did not allow me to do so…someday I will come back again!
I was exhausted but it was too hot to sleep in the train > <
