I like to take a stroll along the European streets decorated with flowers. To my regret I rarely see such a beautiful street with flowers in my hometown, so I always think flowers should be more incorporated into cityscape. In Europe, the flowers naturally blend into everyday life. I envy it!

Which is real human being??

In order to arrive at the airport with sufficient time, I have to leave the old town around 3:30. I still wanted to walk around the city, but I decided to stop and tried to find souvenirs shop as time limit is approaching. I bought a tartan check muffler, gloves and shopping bag. Actually I wanted an umbrella too, but I gave it up because I was not sure if it would be hand-carry baggage when boarding an airplane.

I took a tram train again to the airport. Good bye Edinburgh, I will come back someday!

The return flight had a one hour delay. Ah … I wish I could have been in old town if I knew it in advance. According to my personal statistics, flight delay rate is about 50% except Japanese airline, JAL and ANA, which are (always) on time.
I made it a rule to go back to the hotel before sunset so got flustered when I arrived at Gatwick airport and saw a beautiful sunset there. Needless to say, It was completely dark when arriving at Victoria Station, but fortunately the hotel is in the safe area and a few minutes walk from the station.
